I Tried Almost Everything at Taka Food Fiesta 2026. Here Are My Top Picks | merewards

19 June 2026 by Grace Kho

Foodies, you've probably already heard about the Taka Food Fiesta 2026. Running until 29 June 2026, Takashimaya Square B2 has been transformed into a food lover's paradise, featuring a wide variety of Asian delights. From local favourites to flavours from popular travel destinations such as Thailand, Japan and more, there's just something for every palate.

With more than 50 stalls to explore, it's the perfect excuse to gather your friends and indulge in as many dishes as possible. Not sure where to start? I took the time to try most of the offerings, so you don't have to. Here's a guide to the must-try bites that deserve a spot at the top of your list. Read on to find out more!

Black Otah Lab

You've probably tried the iconic Hougang Otah and fallen in love with its signature flavours. For this year's Food Fiesta, Black Otah is taking things up a notch with its all-new Squid Ink Otah, combining the classic spicy otah with the rich umami depth of squid ink.

I ordered the Mantou Otah Set, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Layered with cheese and torched to perfection, it arrived beautifully golden and aromatic. One bite in, and the flavours came alive. The savoury otah, subtle heat, smoky char and creamy cheese came together in a deliciously indulgent combination. If you're heading to the fiesta, this is one dish you won't want to miss.

Jammy’s

Counting macros and indulging in sweet treats has never been the perfect crossover until you’ve tried Jammy’s. As the knowledge of protein intake becomes more widespread, I can’t help but squeal a little when I see that Jammy’s treats are high in protein, with sundaes and cola floats providing at least 30g of protein! That’s a true guilt-free treat! Moreover, their desserts are mostly gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free, plant-powered, low in carbs, and made from real ingredients. So, no nasties!

I tried their Pistachio Crunch Popsicle and Sour Green Apple Gummy Bears as my last stop after rounds of walking around and eating many sweet desserts. And honestly, it’s quite a relief to know that I don’t have to worry about their sugar content or calories at this store.

The Ice Cream and Cookies co.

Being a chronically online girl, I've heard all about The Ice Cream & Cookie Co. and have been wanting to try it for the longest time. Especially their famous Cookie Fries that you can dip into their ice cream!

At the Taka Food Fiesta, they're bringing seven ice cream flavours, including four local-inspired creations: Singapore Neapolitan, Speculoos, Strawberry Shortcake and Pistachio. Of course, I had to get their iconic Cookie Fries, and honestly, they were just as good as I imagined. There's something so satisfying about dipping warm, crispy cookie fries into cold, creamy ice cream.

As they don't have a store in Singapore yet, you'll definitely want to take this chance to try them while they're here. If you've been seeing them all over your feed like I have, consider this your sign to finally see what the hype is about. Don't leave the Food Fiesta without getting your hands on those famous Cookie Fries!

Mahota

If you haven't had Mahota brownies, you're absolutely missing out. Their decadent brownies are rich and flavourful, and they make the perfect gift for friends and family. While you're there, you absolutely have to try their cookies and snack bites too. They're not only healthier, but surprisingly tasty as well. I really love guilt-free treats, so this store was right up my alley.

If you're heading to the Taka Food Fiesta, make sure to add Mahota to your list of must-visit stalls.

Kremi

One of my current dessert obsessions is Kremi. Ever since coming back from Japan, I’ve been missing the sweet Japanese crepes that just hit the spot, especially after a savoury hearty dinner. Their store is located at SCAPE*, so it’s convenient to grab a bite whenever I’m in town. This Takashimaya Food Fiesta, I was excited to try all their new and exclusive flavours and absolutely loved the Premium Japanese Musk Melon. After this food fiesta, catch them at SCAPE* and enjoy 10% off when you flash your merewards app.

Chateaux

When I visited this store during the fiesta, I was mind-blown by their creation. Selling curated premium butter and kombucha, their creation is one you have to try while you’re there. Their black and white garlic butter is my favourite because who doesn’t like a good garlic butter packed with so much flavour? Alongside black and white garlic, try other savoury flavours like classic bacon butter and truffle butter. Don’t forget to indulge in their premium crafted kombucha featuring many refreshing flavours too.

Taka member promotion:

For every $50 spent at Chateaux on a single receipt, Get a FREE bottle of Kombucha worth $8.

Kwazy Korndog

When they named themselves Kwazy Korndog, they really meant it! Their flavours were crazy, and I was so down to try them all! To be honest, I’ve only tried the classic corndog from Korea, where they drizzle ketchup and layer it with sugar. But… when I saw that they had Singapore-inspired flavours this time around, I was sold! Featuring a local twist like Super Ring Corndog, Laksa Corndog, Mantou Corndog, and Milo Corndog, they have fused Korea’s favourite treat perfectly with ours. My personal favourite was the Super Ring Corndog; it tasted like childhood.

Kawakami Shokuhin

Among all the sweet treats I got to enjoy at the fiesta, it was equally satisfying to take a break and enjoy some savoury bites from Kawakami Shokuhin.

Featuring flavours like snow crab, scallop and classic fish cakes, this is one stall where you'll want to try as many varieties as possible. Each fish cake brings its own unique burst of flavour, making it hard to pick just one favourite. Trust me on this: come with your friends so you can order more flavours and share them all.

My personal favourite was the snow crab fish cake because I love the sweet, delicate taste of crab meat. If you're craving something savoury in between all the desserts, this is definitely a stall worth stopping by.

Otterly

The first thing that caught my attention about Otterly was the fact that I could satisfy my sweet tooth while clocking my protein goals at the same time.

If you're a fan of Dubai Chewy Chocolate, this is one stall you'll want to visit. Their treats are low in sugar and, more importantly, each chocolate ball contains at least 6g of protein. It's the perfect excuse to indulge without feeling too guilty.

For those looking to up their protein intake even more, check out their Dubai Chewy Sandwich. With a layer of cheese added to the mix, it delivers that sweet-and-savoury combination while packing up to 16g of protein per serving.

Time to make those macros count without sacrificing flavour!

Taka member promotion:

Spend $30 and above to receive 1 complimentary double-layered cheese yoghurt (worth $3.50)

All in all, if you're still contemplating whether to visit the Taka Food Fiesta, this is your sign to do it. With the fiesta entering its final week, now's the perfect time to head down and indulge in all the treats we've recommended.

Trust me, it's well worth a visit. My only mistake was not bringing enough friends along with me. There were simply too many delicious things to try, and I definitely could've used a few extra stomachs to help me eat more. So gather your foodie friends and make the most of it before it's gone!
