If you’ve explored Punggol East Container Park, you must have seen Big Fish Small Fish – it’s hard to miss their big yellow and blue signage when they launched in 2017. Founded by Mr Tham Kok Yun and Mr Ong Wei Sheng, they wanted to create a restaurant with a communal dining experience Thus, the idea of serving fish and crisps in a cone was born – think those fish and chips shops served at Australian beach cafes.
At Big Fish Small Fish, they go big with their portions! On the menu, all items are a true value for money – take your pick from different types of fish served here from dory, seabass to salmon, that are battered and accompanied with freshly sliced potato crisps or premium skin-on fries fried to golden perfection. Watch our video review below to know what we mean!
Dip your fish and crisps in their wide range of sublime free-flow sauces such as Cheese, Curry, Tartar and Salted Egg (our all-time favourite!).
Besides fish & crisps, you can also indulge in a range of appetisers such as Fried Calamari ($8.80), Garlic Toast ($3.90) and even 8-inch Long Cheese Sticks ($4.90) - a must-try for cheese lovers! They also have chicken options – Fried Boneless Chicken and Grilled Boneless Chicken (both at $9.80), which comes with a choice of 1 side and free-flow sauces.
