Sentosa Island, or just Sentosa as it is commonly known, is well known for many things. The extensive cable car network, white sandy beaches, and numerous hotels boasting picturesque scenery attract millions of visitors to this small but fun island each year.
In partnership with Mount Faber Leisure, the company behind renowned attractions such as the Singapore Cable Car, SkyHelix Sentosa, Wings of Time, and the Sentosa Island Bus Tour, we bring you an itinerary specially designed to get the most out of each attraction.
To enjoy the best picturesque views of Sentosa, be sure to follow this itinerary that is designed to let you get the most out of each attraction.
1. Take the Singapore Cable Car from Harbourfront Station to Mount Faber Station - 5.30pm
There are two boarding points for the cable car - one at Harbourfront and the other at Mount Faber Peak. While your ticket allows you to board from either station, we highly recommend you start your journey by taking the cable car from Harbourfront towards Mount Faber. Enjoy the best views of the hilltop at 100 metres above sea level before you head towards Sentosa!
Purchase your tickets online or over the ticketing counter. A Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip) costs $35 per adult and $25 per child between 4 to 12 years old.
Hint: meREWARDS member discounts at the bottom!
2. Explore Mount Faber Peak and Check Out Poland’s Bells of Happiness at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro - 5.40pm
After arriving at Mount Faber Peak, take some time to check out the amazing view atop the second highest peak in Singapore, after Bukit Timah Hill.
Mount Faber Peak is popular as a running and workout spot among the residents living in the area. With around 40 hectares of forested area, it also boasts an impressive variety of flora and fauna, so be sure to check it out during your next visit!
The Poland's Bells of Happiness was named as such in 2019 as Singapore commemorated 50 years of diplomatic relations in maritime traditions with Poland.
You will find 2 bells there, the first one marking the first anniversary of "Dar Młodzieży” ship's first ever port call in Singapore in 2018, and the second being an existing bell from its sister ship "Dar Pomorza" ship. The bells are said to bring happiness and good fortune to newlyweds!
Boasting one of the best views from a restaurant in Singapore is the multi-award-winning Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, located next to the cable car station. Some of the accolades they have won include the 'Outstanding Casual Dining Experience' award by Singapore Tourism Awards (2022) and Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice (2021).
Treat yourself to a million-dollar view overlooking mainland Singapore's southern shores.
3. Take the Cable Car to Sentosa Station - 6.10pm
Hop onboard the cable car at Mount Faber Peak and your Sentosa Island adventure begins. Offering a 360 degrees aerial view of the Harbourfront area and Sentosa, take in the sights of the soon-to-be-gone Tanjong Pagar port, the Central Business District, the expensive homes along Keppel Bay with its very own private yacht marina, and of course Sentosa itself.

4. SkyHelix Sentosa - 6.25pm
Upon arrival at Sentosa Station, take a short stroll to SkyHelix Sentosa, located right outside the station. Opened in December 2021, SkyHelix is Sentosa's newest attraction, and Singapore's highest open-air, panoramic ride. You get to sit and dangle your legs in a rotating gondola that brings you 35 metres above ground for a 360-degree view of Sentosa, Keppel Bay and as far as the Greater Southern Waterfront area with a complimentary standard drink in hand.
Do note that you will be asked to safekeep your bags and hats on the ground before boarding the gondola, but you are allowed to bring your camera, selfie stick and drinks.
Sentosa's first carbon-neutral attraction is also available both as a day and nighttime experience. If you follow our itinerary, you should be able to catch the sunset while high up in the air.
There is also nothing beneath your feet while you are up in the air, so remember to tighten your shoelaces or even remove your slippers if you do not want them to hurtle through time and space before landing onto the surface below.
The ride is approximately 12 minutes in total and provides an ideal escape from all your worries on the ground. Definitely a must-try for locals and tourists alike!
Tickets are priced at $18 per adult and $15 per child between 4 to 12 years old.
