AtTea is a bubble tea chain opened by Taiwanese star Jam Hsiao in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. The onset of the pandemic resulted in many people losing their jobs, and Jam decided to create this F&B sideline to create job opportunities for the young and those close to him.
The first outlet opened in Ximending in May 2020 and was a hit with fans. It was soon followed by 7 other outlets sprawled across Taiwan, in cities such as New Taipei, Hsinchu, Taoyuan, and Kaohsiung.
In April 2021, AtTea's first overseas outlet opened its doors - at our very own Tiong Bahru. The outlet was decked in a signature orange hue (Jam's favourite lucky colour), and locals - fan or no fan, quickly took to it for its wide variety of aromatic tea brews. It is said that Jam had personally tasted all the drinks and only those which passed his stringent criteria made it to the menu!

Genmaicha tea is a type of green tea infused with roasted brown rice. Unlike regular green tea, which tastes bitter and has a grassy flavour, genmaicha tea has a slight tinge of sweetness and a nutty flavour. Genmaicha is also known to lower bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase good cholesterol (HDL). Talk about a power drink!

Their Happy Pearls are free from preservatives, and infused with beta-carotene, a natural pigment found in plants, to give it that signature orange colour. The pearls are also freshly made in Singapore!

Those craving for something creamy can opt for the Jasmine Green Tea Au Lait (served with milk) with Happy Pearl. Aromatic green tea is served with fresh cream milk for a smooth and creamy texture. The Happy Pearls provide that addictive chewiness found only in freshly made pearls. Take your time to savour the pearls and you will be able to taste the carrot in those pearls.

3. Summer Rhapsody Fruit Tea with Aloe Vera (L) - $6.90
This unique concoction features passionfruit, grapefruit, and aloe vera added to a jasmine green tea base. The resulting burst of fruity flavours is a stark contrast from the earlier two teas. The drink also came with copious amounts of passionfruit, grapefruit, and aloe vera bits.
Citrusy and tangy
No need for any additional toppings with this drink, it is good on its own.
