Fun Activities and Events for Your Kids This June Holidays 2022

School's out and fun's in! The June school holidays start on 28 May and end on 26 June this year. This much-awaited June school holidays represent the first extended break for students since the lifting of COVID-19 safe management measures in April. From jumping on bouncy castles at Gardens by the Bay's Jumptopia, engaging in holistically designed summer camp programmes such as Camp Gungho in Sentosa, to learning about Singapore's early settlers at Children's Season 2022: Get Curious! 1. Children's Season 2022: Get Curious! Our Early Settlers

Join Professor Alvis and his niece Bernice for a set of engaging explorations about how the people of early Singapore lived and worked. Your kids will go on a hands-on adventure to discover different trades like rickshaw pulling, rubber tapping and food peddling.

With the exciting range of interactive installations and fun-filled programmes, young children can learn about values such as perseverance, resilience and determination.

2. Far East Organization Children's Garden 

Closed since the onset of the pandemic, the Far East Organization Children's Garden is finally opening its doors to little ones and their parents starting from 27 May 2022. The play area is divided into different zones for the different age groups. Toddlers aged 1 - 5 can get their bodies soaked at the Toddler Play Zone, with Fish Fountains and water tunnels to keep them entertained.

Children aged 6 - 12 can explore 2 different play zones. Conquer a maze of ropes, ladders and slippery dips at the Rainforest Tree Houses, or run havoc at the Water Play, designed with motion sensors that automatically detect the movement of children and respond intelligently with thrilling water effects while they play.

3. Jumptopia: Wonder Garden

Escape the ordinary at this massive outdoor playground where children can spend an entire day of fun! Expect 8 unique play concepts covering over 8,600 sq ft of space from garden-themed bouncy castles to climbing structures.

While the kids wreck havoc, the rest of the family can enjoy yummy bits over at Kith Café!

4. Camp GungHo - Sentosa Summer 2022

A fun, engaging and beneficial experience for your child this summer, Camp GungHo is a summer camp featuring holistically designed programmes that run over 5 weeks at Sentosa. Suitable for kids aged 6 - 12, children get to enjoy the activities they already love while stretching themselves to take risks, try new activities and make new friends.

5. Snoopy Adventure at Changi Airport

We all know Singapore's Changi Airport has not and will never be just an airport. This June holidays, bring your little ones on a snow-filled adventure (yes real snow) at The Snoopy Adventure at Changi Airport.

Let your kids immerse themselves in a light, sound and snow experience without the need to travel abroad. Or climb up the two-storey snow chamber and slide down the thrilling mini slides. Other Snoopy attractions across the terminal await your family, with five Peanuts-themed photo spots, play area and meet-and-greet sessions on selected dates in May and June.

6. Minions Grovy Summer at Universal Studios Singapore

The three beloved characters from the Minions, along with the newest member Otto from Illumination’s latest movie, Minions 2: The Rise of Gru (in cinemas this June!) have arrived at Universal Studios Singapore and they’re ready to party! You can meet them at their own Lagoon Stage where they will have their own meet-and-greet sessions.

There are various packages available, including discounts, dining vouchers and freebies!

7. i Light Singapore

Asia's leading sustainable light festival is back, this time with various programmes to cater to everyone in the family. Join walking tours, explore light installations located at various spots around Marina Bay, or take park in GastroBeats, the ultimate festival for those who enjoy good food and fun vibes. Kids will love the massive food-themed inflatable playground where they can run to their heart's content.

8. Fire Station Open House

Another event that is resuming after being put on hold during the last 2 years is the SCDF Fire Station Open House event. Starting from 30 April 2022, members of the public can visit the Open House in person to learn more about Emergency Vehicles, their capabilities as well as having a go at donning the protective gear!

Guided tours are available every Saturday morning on two different time slots, namely 9am to 9.50am or 10am to 10.50am at 18 different venues. Walk-ins are allowed but if you are a group of 10 or more people, you will have to make a booking via the link below.
