A classic crowd favourite, Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights (HHN) is one of the most talked-about events in town every year, featuring thrilling haunted houses and after-hours rides. This year, they’ve prepared four incredible haunted houses:

1. Netflix’s Stranger Things
A long-time fan favourite, and it’s easy to see why! The hit TV series Stranger Things brings its terrifying Demodogs, Mind Flayers, and more to life. Inspired by Seasons 2 to 4, step into the world of Hawkins and watch the series come alive around you.

2. Death Whisperer
Inspired by the hit Thai horror film, this haunted house guarantees spine-chilling scares. Journey back to rural Kanchanaburi in 1971, where a cursed village hides a vengeful spirit searching for a new host. The haunting begins the moment you enter.

3. Singapore’s Most Haunted: Built to Horror
A clever twist on Singapore’s iconic Build-to-Order (BTO) scheme, this story follows a demonic sensei’s dark ritual that has gone horribly wrong, corrupting your neighbourhood. As you step inside, stay alert as every corner hides a lurking terror.

4. The Unruly Immortals
Enter the eerie world of a dark Chinese manhua, where nothing feels real and everything is a waking nightmare. Can you find your way out, or will you be trapped in a fever dream of demons and hellish realms? Once you step in, there’s no turning back.

Halloween at Watten Estate

Date: 31 Oct 2025, 4pm to midnight

Watten Estate on Upper Bukit Timah Road has always been the talk of the town for being the estate to trick-or-treat in. The residents go all out, decorating their homes with spooky mascots, inflatable phantoms, witches, and skeletons. Over the years, their creativity and wide variety of sweets have attracted both teenagers and adults alike.

This year, the fun starts early at 4pm for the little ones, followed by 5pm for the older kids, and later for everyone else. If you plan to dress extra scary, come a bit later so you don’t frighten the young ones who are there for the joy and the treats!

Halloween at Woodgrove

Date: 31 Oct 2025

Woodgrove boasts a strong sense of community, clearly shown through its resident-run events like Halloween. Every year, the estate welcomes crowds of people dressed in creative costumes, eager to take photos with the impressive decorations. Picture cobwebs draped over home-grown trees, ghostly ornaments, and homeowners dressed as witches or vampires handing out candy to anyone brave enough to approach their homes.

Started in 2007 by 30 residents who introduced Singapore to American-style Halloween traditions, the estate has only grown stronger over the years, turning the event into one of the biggest and most welcoming celebrations for anyone who wants to soak up the Halloween spirit.
